My account/notes:
Although I failed to notice any such Egyptian decor (where oh where are you theme hotels?) the room we got, Room 801, impressed my sister and I the moment we entered. The way that it’s laid out really takes advantage of the space, giving off the illusion that it’s massive. There’s a windowside bench with two chairs and a great view of the station and city, a we coffee table and two little chairs, a lock on the toilet (hooray), vending machines with not only naughty toys and drinks but also instant noodles and other snacks, spare fridge for your own use and microwave.
There’s also karaoke with a HUGE selection of Beatles songs included, widescreen television, Sega Saturn access with a multitude of games… Oh oh oh, and the jet bath lights can be a ‘romantic’ red! Not to mention the place just looks absolutely fantastic. The potential for romance astounds.
If I were to say an odd point it would be that the toilet butt-shower has a ‘massage’ option. I am somewhat afraid as to what that is used for.
Only downfalls I could see from this place would be the checkout at 10am and the lack of a DVD player, though it did have a VCR – sadly not really much of a replacement in itself because who really uses video cassettes anymore? Honestly.
Not bad for just under 10,000 yen for the night.
